Jessica Ball

About me – Jessica Ball

My position at Professional BAS Agent Services started in 2014 when I applied for and was selected to take on the key role of, PA to the Directors.

This role has allowed me to grow in both my knowledge as well as in my professional career and I have been able to achieve many things that I would never previously have considered being able to do. Aside from standard PA tasks, my role is diverse in that it includes tasks such as, planning and coordinating Seminars; liaising with external consultants to run Webinars, managing the social media, and all-encompassing aspects by essentially being an extension of Helen.

I’m also very happy that this role has allowed me to regain my enjoyment of working with numbers and am thrilled to know that I’m working for a business who is keen to give me the opportunity of attaining my bookkeeping qualifications, when I’m ready.

I find that being a team member of PBS is very rewarding, as we are each considered to be part of “the family” and know that our opinions are valued.

Something Interesting about Jessica

I always make sure that I do things which make me happy, as life is too short to spend on negativity.

I grew up on a farm in Victoria and love the outdoors. From a very young age, I was always around animals and spent many years riding horses at a competitive level, achieving 1st place over consecutive years at the Wandin One-day Event. This period of my life was very special, as I had the opportunity of spending quality time with my Mum, as she nurtured me in our shared interest.

In 2015 I undertook an extremely challenging but rewarding experience of partaking in the OXFAM Trail Walk which covers 100km commencing at Warburton and finishing at Jells Park, Wheelers Hill. I loved and thoroughly engaged in the preparation, training as well as the participation in the event.

I aim high and I achieve.   At the age of 21, my Partner and I bought our first block of land!

And finally, like so many other young people, I love travelling and have been lucky to have visited many countries around the world where I have experienced the diversities between our culture in Australia and those of other countries.
